Registration is now closed for the Summer 2023 session of the Tenant School program.
For those who had missed this round of registering and are interested in attending a future Tenant School, we will be hosting more Tenant schools.
This is an exciting opportunity for tenants and Tenant Association leaders to learn from experts and improve their knowledge of the law.
At the school, you will learn:
- The ins and outs of landlord and tenant law in Ontario
- How to set up a tenant association and effectively work with your neighbours
- Strategies to advocate for yourself and your neighbours
- How to work with government and politicians
The school comprises of four (4) FREE online workshops:
- Introduction to Landlord and Tenant Law

- Working with your Neighbours and Starting a Tenant Association
Date: Tuesday, June 27, 2023

- Working with Government
Date: Wednesday, June 28, 2023
Time: 7:00- 8:30 PM
All workshops are either taught by lawyers or experienced community activists.
Registration is only required once. You DO NOT have to sign up for workshops individually.
Zoom links and a detailed course outline will be sent out before the program begins.
A certificate of completion is available after the school upon request.
