Registration is now open for the FMTA Tenant School!

This Free and hybrid intensive program is designed for tenants who want to improve their knowledge of the law as well as for Tenant Association members and executives.

Topics covered include:

• An intensive review of the law and regulations
• Deeper understanding of human rights issues in rental housing
• How tenants and tenant associations can ensure landlords make repairs
• Strategies to work with your neighbours and start or maintain a Tenant Association
• How government works, with a focus on operations at City Hall

All workshops are taught by experienced lawyers, community advocates and tenant leaders.

The school comprises both in person and online components.

After registering, you will be sent a detailed course outline which will include   a schedule and zoom invitations for online components.

A certificate of completion will be awarded at the conclusion of the program.
