The Tenant School is coming to your neighborhood!

Tenants and Tenant Association leaders in the Toronto- St. Paul’s ward are welcome to apply to the Tenant School program.

Join us to learn about your rights under the law, meet other tenant leaders and strategize to take action against bad landlords!

This is an intensive training with classes taught by lawyers and community advocates.

The school is hybrid: there are both zoom and in person workshops.

Here is the schedule of workshops:

• Introduction to Landlord and Tenant Law:

• Human Rights and Rental Housing:

Date and time: Monday, September 15 from 7:00- 8:30 PM

• Getting Repairs Done:

Date and time: Wednesday, September 17 from 7:00- 8:30 PM

• Community Organizing and Tenant Associations:

Date and time: Saturday, September 20 from 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Format: In  person

• Working with Government:

Date and Time: Saturday, September 20 from 1:30-3:30 PM

1. a detailed course outline will be sent to registered participants along with applicable zoom links. Participants who sign up will be given the location of the in person workshops.
