The results of our survey are in!  Conducted over two one-week periods in June, we surveyed 630 tenants in Toronto both online and via the telephone.  Find out how landlords did below.

Is the landlord threatening eviction for non-payment of rent to tenants
(via some kind of mass mailing)?

Yes - 134/630 (21%)
No - 492/630 (78%)
skipped - 4/630 (1%)

Are they still giving rent increases?

yes - 376/576 (65%)
no - 189/576 (33%)
skipped - 11/576 (2%)

Are they offering to work with tenants who can't pay in some way?

yes - 219/532  (41%)
no - 285/532 (54%)
skipped - 28/532 (5%)

Have they shut down any services? (e.g laundry room, fitness room,
locker rooms etc)?

yes - 153/588 (26%)
no - 424/588 (72%)
skipped - 11/588 (2%)

Are they engaging in any new health or cleaning systems? (hand-sanitizer
at the elevator for example)

yes - 268/577 (46%)
no - 288/577 (50%)
skipped - 21/577 (4%)

Is the landlord still doing unit inspections or showing the unit to
prospective tenants?

yes - 189/509 (37%)
no - 303/509 (60%)
skipped - 17/509 (3%)
