Registration is open for the FMTA’s Tenant School program!
This intensive 2-day training is geared to tenants and Tenant Association leaders!
The tenant school will be conducted in person at a downtown Toronto location.
All workshops are taught by lawyers or experienced community advocates!
A certificate will be provided upon completion.

Saturday, March 1st (9am-5pm):
9:00 AM- 12:00 PM: Intro to L&T
12:00 PM- 1:00 PM: Lunch
1:00PM -2:30 PM: Human rights and Rental Housing
2:30 PM- 4:00 PM: Getting Repairs Done
Saturday, March 8th (9am-5pm):
9:00 AM- 10:30 AM: Community Organizing and tenant associations.
10:30 AM- 12:00 PM: Working with Government
12:00 PM- 1:00 PM: Lunch
1:00 PM- 2:00 PM: Indigenous Issues in rental housing
2:00 PM- 3:00 PM: Self-Representation at the Landlord and Tenant Board
3:00 PM- 4:00 PM: Fighting Demovictions and Building Tenant Power
